Hello and welcome!

There's not too much here, I'm afraid, just a few links and a little bit about me. But then again, what else did you expect at danmcneil.org ?

I'm an experienced Engineering Leader, having started my leadership career all the way back at Symbian in the days when SymbianOS was a major player in the mobile industry. I most recently worked at Epic Games where I was the Engineering Director for the User Identity Services team.

After taking the decision to leave Epic in March 2026, I am taking some time out for myself to unashamedly recharge, refresh and enjoy some relaxation.

That doesn't mean I'm not open to work, though. I'm keeping an eye open for opportunities where I think I could thrive; I haven't lost any of my drive for challenging, interesting and fulfilling work!
